Day Glow
The Day Glow Tour recently rolled through town on a night I happened to be working. Starting at about 8pm, literally every 10 minutes an ambulance would bring in some teenage kid completely passed out and covered in vomit. At one point we had 14 kids in the ED (let me tell you, the ED smelled great), several of them intubated. What made me laugh about the whole thing was initially the kids started off in pristine white clothes, but as the night wore on, they come in more and more progressively covered by the neon paints, until at the end of the night they were mostly covered head to toe. With so many kids, their pals as well, the it looked like the after party was being held in our ED.
